The comedian became emotional when she started talking about how Lea Salonga served as her inspiration, not just in her future career but also in her life.

“Kakatapos ko lang mag-workshop sa probinsiya tapos 'yun agad 'yung binigay na trabaho sa akin. Sobrang excited ako kasi Lea Salonga, anong gagawin ko? Baka dumugo ang ilong ko kasi English nang English,” she said, laughing.

Cacai also recalled how she desired to enter the musical theater because of the way Lea served as her inspiration.

"I was so moved by her.." She said crying

“Konting tao lang ang nakakaalam pero one of the reasons why I never gave up in theater and in showbiz was because of Ms. Lea Salonga. Marami akong mentors. She’s one of the few people who really inspired me,” she said.

Cacai Bautista also indicate about how good person Lea Salonga is and that she's far from what people think she is. She even stated that in all of her shows, Lea has never been late.

"Never siyang na-late sa loob ng almost 80 shows.. She was never late. Ako lang yung nakakalapit sakaniya.. Si Luz tsaka ako, kami talaga yung nag-aalaga sa kaniya. Tapos lahat ng undergarments ni Ms. Lea ako nagaayos, ako naglalaba.."

Cacai also added that every show, Lea Salonga would pick up anything that the fans would throw on the stage, just so she could minimize the work of the staff.

Lea Salonga then expressed how proud she is of what Cacai has become and all her achievements.

“Nakakataba ng puso watching her kasi ang galing niya. When you see somebody kasi that you’ve known, that you’ve worked with, up there na magaling, na maganda 'yung ginagawa, talagang wow. Kamakailan lang, magkasama lang tayo, binibihisan mo ako. Now I’m seeing her like that, nakakatuwa,” she said.

Salonga said: “I’m thankful. I guess a lot of it is dahil sa theater training na do not give other people a hard time. It’s part of it.”
