MUST SEE: Senator Trillanes Files Criminal Charges Against Mocha Uson For Giving False Information!

Senator Antonio Trillanes has filed criminal charges against PCOO Secretary Mocha Uson before the Office of the Ombudsman.

Atty. Reynaldo Robles and Magdalo party-list Rep. Gary Alejano have accompanied Senator Trillanes at the Office of Ombudsman in filing a complaint against Mocha Uson for giving false information regarding his alleged offshore bank accounts.

The incumbent lawmaker files charges against Uson including libel under the Cyber Crime Prevention Act, graft, and violation of the code of conduct of government officials.

The images and computer printed documents posted on the Facebook page “Mocha Uson Blog” accusing Trillanes of having offshore bank accounts in different countries all around the world to hide his alleged ill-gotten wealth has prompted the lawmaker to file criminal charges against the PCOO secretary.

Trillanes accused the lead vocalist of Mocha Girls of violating the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act and violation of Code of Ethics and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.

He also accused Mocha of grave misconduct for performing casino bars despite the prohibition on public officials from entering those establishments.

“Hindi na pupuwede yung fake news. The era of fake news is over,” said by Trillanes quoted by Philstar.

Previously, Trillanes has been one of the most controversial politicians in the country after several news outlets have exposed his alleged offshore bank accounts containing millions of pesos.

President Rodrigo Duterte was also accusing the lawmaker of having a foreign bank account, prompting Trillanes to fly to Singapore to debunk the accusations. DBS Bank Singapore told Trillanes that there was no existing account under his name.

Unfortunately, Senator Trillanes fell into the trap set by the president saying that the bank account he issued was fake, but the lawmaker flew to Singapore out of the desperate attempt.

Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella said that Mr. Duterte has an unorthodox strategy in dealing with different issues.
